MenopauseThe role of the herbal practitioner.
I conduct a thorough consultation to explore the symptoms you are experiencing and design a prescription specifically designed for you. I find that there are many herbs which are helpful, all in different ways. I always design a prescription using a range of different herbs, so to address the range of symptoms you experience and to support you in an holistic way. However, as every woman is different, often presenting with a plethora of health problems, no two prescriptions will be the same. When prescribing herbal medicines I may consider herbs which provide hormonal support, support the nervous system, select plants which are cooling, act on the liver or support the adrenals. Thyroid status, cardiac health and osteoporosis will all be considered. Dietary recommendations will also be made. |
Testimonial'I was off work for two months with severe menopause symptoms. I had visited my GP on a number of occasions but unfortunately, none of the conventional medications prescribed provided any relief whatsoever.
Still feeling really ill and unable to cope, I booked a consultation with Veda. She was extremely thorough and professional as well as patient, considerate and genuinely caring. She made up a herbal mixture to address and alleviate my (list) of symptoms and within a remarkably short space of time I felt remarkably improved. I would recommend anyone to go and see Veda. My only regret is that I didn’t consult her sooner' (J.L. 18/6/15).
